Tour Guide

We are looking for a dynamic tour guide to join the Bikes and Munchies team. The tour guide's responsibilities include following itineraries, managing the logistics and operation of each tour, familiarizing guests with the Mexico City locality by bicycle, and ensuring the safety of the group at all times. He/she must also be up to date on recommendations that may be of interest to clients.

To ensure success as a tour guide, you must be an excellent storyteller with customer service skills. An excellent tour guide will conduct each itinerary to ensure it is tailored to the unique experience of each group. We are looking for people who are passionate about Mexican identity, culture, history, and overall in love with Mexico City. All our tours are on bicycles and in English.

RESPONSABILITIES

• In charge of the logistics of the tour before the guests arrive and until they leave.
• In charge of the safety of the group while riding.
• During the tour the most important fact is to entertain our guests.
• In charge of payments with our local suppliers. 
• Daily report of operated tours (payments on site, payments to suppliers, etc.)

EXPERIENCE

• Command of English is mandatory (fluent in talking).
• Tourist guide experience is required but not mandatory. It is more important to be extroverted, talkative and history interested. 
• Guest Service is Mandatory.
• Feeling confident driving bicycles in the city is a MUST. 

PREFERABLE

• Guide Certification.
• French, German is a plus.

There is a fixed rate per day of work + monthly bonus + tips.

Social Media Freelancer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media specialist to join our team. Our goal is to increase Bikes and Munchies' community and create a strong presence on social media.

You will be responsible for creating social media campaigns and the management of the company's social media properties. Your passion for social media as a communications tool will result in the adoption and implementation of social media best practices across our social media channels.

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and administering content on our social media platforms, such as Instagram and Tiktok, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. 

You may also monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and create creative designs in different formats such as images, videos, reels, stories and more.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Develop, implement and manage a social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification. 
• Developing a social media content calendar where you can plan weekly posts. 
• Creating consistent and meaningful content on our social media platforms such as videos, reels, pictures, videos, etc. 
• Writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns. 
• Building meaningful connections with customers, increasing brand awareness and encouraging community members to engage with the brand. 
• Your work will be measured based on results and metrics. 

SKILLS

• Advanced English (Mandatory)
• Ability to work in a team or individually as required and without constant reminders of their tasks. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.

EXPERIENCE 

• Proven working experience in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist is not required but it is preferable.
• Basic knowledge about Social Media and how to implement strategies.
• To feel confident riding bicycles is a must.

PREFERABLE 

• Social Media Lover 
• Experience in creating reels and TikTok videos
• Experience in building a strong presence on social media
